The presenter joined a host of famous faces descending on the prestigious grass court event, which promises a fortnight of drama and world-class tennis.

Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu looked fabulous alongside fiancé Peter Gibson as she caught the eye in a pastel yellow dress with thigh split.

Hollywood A-lister Isla Fisher also mingled among the early arrivals, smiling for snaps in an all-white ensemble.

However, the day was marred by disappointing news for British tennis fans as Emma Raducanu was forced to withdraw from the tournament late on Sunday evening.

The British number one had been desperate to take to the court against Croatia's Antonia Ružić on Monday afternoon, but a final scan revealed devastating results.

"I can't believe I'm saying this," Raducanu wrote on Instagram, "But sadly I've had to withdraw from this year's Wimbledon."

She went on: "I've done everything possible to try to get to the start line tomorrow but after a final scan tonight, the niggle I've been managing has developed into a stress fracture and I've been medically advised to stop pushing through."

Serena Williams is set to create headlines with her return to the Wimbledon lawns at the age of 44.
