The 2026 Wimbledon Championships kicked off today at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, with celebrities flocking to SW19 for the tournament's opening day.
Newly single Tess Daly was among the glamorous arrivals bringing star power to the Royal Box and VIP areas on Monday.

However, the day was marred by disappointing news for British tennis fans as Emma Raducanu was forced to withdraw from the tournament late on Sunday evening.
The British number one had been desperate to take to the court against Croatia's Antonia Ružić on Monday afternoon, but a final scan revealed devastating results.

"I can't believe I'm saying this," Raducanu wrote on Instagram, "But sadly I've had to withdraw from this year's Wimbledon."
She went on: "I've done everything possible to try to get to the start line tomorrow but after a final scan tonight, the niggle I've been managing has developed into a stress fracture and I've been medically advised to stop pushing through."
