Created as a teeth-whitening solution without your teeth feeling sensitive or painful, My Sweet Smile was founded right in the UK. The company said on their website: "At-home teeth whitening was everywhere in 2020. LED kits flooded the market, all promising instant results in 10 minutes.

"But when we tested these products and spoke to customers, the pattern was clear: they either didn't work at all, or they caused severe sensitivity. Some even permanently damaged enamel."

To use the teeth whitening powder, dampen your toothbrush, dip it into the powder, add your regular toothpaste over the top, and brush as normal. The formula contains three key actives — hydroxyapatite, the mineral teeth are naturally made from, which helps remineralise enamel; papain and bromelain, enzymes from papaya and pineapple that break down stain proteins; and vitamin E to help protect and condition the gums.

Unlike peroxide-based whitening products, the powder is peroxide-free and non-abrasive, meaning it is designed to whiten without causing sensitivity or wearing down enamel. That could make it particularly appealing if your teeth have become more sensitive over time or you're looking for a gentler addition to your usual brushing routine.

Each jar contains enough powder for 52 uses, giving you around six months of supply.

To use it, apply two pumps across the gums after brushing at night, allow it to absorb for two minutes, and spit out the rest. The company says there's no need to rinse afterwards, and the minty-fresh formula can be used alongside caps, implants, veneers, and bonding.

A 30ml bottle is meant to last around one to two months and carries the Dermatest 5-Star Seal.

Taken together, the three products offer a more complete routine, according to the company. The Powder is ideal for everyday whitening, the Strips for a deeper 14-day treatment, and the Serum for gum care.
