Richile Vangu, armed with a knife, made his victims dance on video while he stole their money and possessions

Two men have been jailed for robbing, "torturing" and "humiliating" guests at a party before uploading footage of their crimes to TikTok.

Richile Vangu, 20, received an 11-year prison sentence, while Oluwatobiloba Akinrinola, 19, was given seven years for their crimes on Monday.

Leicester Crown Court heard how the pair threatened partygoers with a knife at a gathering in North Kilworth, Leicestershire, on November 21, 2025.

Vangu, of Bowes Road, London, demanded each victim transfer him £1,000 and later filmed himself whipping some of them with a belt.

Akinrinola, of Slippers Place, London, was described by Judge Steven Evans as "subservient" to Vangu but played "an essential part" in the offences.

Judge Evans said Vangu had planned the robbery and "recruited" others to assist him, including Akinrinola.

At least eight men were herded into a bedroom at the party and threatened with a large "zombie-style knife."

Designer clothing and an iPhone were stolen from the victims.

Vangu told each person he would stab them in the leg unless they transferred him £1,000.

He forced the group to perform a TikTok dance through multiple takes while photographing their student identification cards to confirm their home addresses.

Evans told the court Vangu introduced himself as 'Trixta' "like a villain from the movies".

Vangu ordered several men who had not paid to attend student accommodation on Bath Lane later that day.

Once there, Akinrinola made some of them do star jumps and high knees before punching them repeatedly.

Vangu whipped victims with a belt, fired a BB gun at their heads, waxed their faces and threatened to cut off their dreadlocks if they did not pay.

Judge Evans said the pair had "tortured" and "humiliated" the men.

Videos from both locations were subsequently posted to TikTok by Vangu.

During sentencing, Evans said Vangu displayed a "complete absence of empathy," laughing as evidence was shown to the jury at trial.

A Probation Service report stated he had "enjoyed humiliating and targeting" his victims.

Vangu was found guilty of four counts of robbery, 10 counts of blackmail and one count of actual bodily harm following a trial.

He had previously pleaded guilty to a separate count of actual bodily harm.

His 11-year sentence was accompanied by an extended licence period of three years.

Akinrinola was convicted of four counts of robbery, nine counts of blackmail and two counts of actual bodily harm, though he was acquitted on one blackmail charge.

Two other men arrested over the incident — Benjamin Osadolor, 19, of Pytchley Street, Northampton, and Ayomide Ibraheem, 19, of Sedan Way, London — were cleared of all charges.
