The court heard how Sally-Anne Bowen would be 'very flirtatious', telling her pupils how she enjoyed giving oral sex to her boyfriend
A paedophile teacher has been found guilty of having sex with a 14-year-old boy and kissing a second teenager in the 1980s.
Sally-Anne Bowen, 65, who taught Chemistry at Christ's College in Finchley, north London, indecently assaulted the two teenagers, who were 14 and 15 years old at the time, when she was in her mid-20s.
A jury at Harrow Crown Court returned majority verdicts, finding the now-65-year-old guilty of seven counts of indecent assault after six and half hours of deliberation.
One victim said he had sex with Bowen "about 20 or 30 times" over a period of months, visiting the teacher's home.
He said he considered her to be his girlfriend at the time, thinking he had fallen in love.
The other victim said he had kissed the then-25-year-old in a cafe when he was "goaded" by his other male classmates.
Bowen, who now lives in Hemel Hempstead, "engaged in flirtatious conduct" with her pupils and entered "in sexual relationships with them both", the court heard.
She dressed in "short, very tight skirts" and walked around the north London school with her "t**s sticking out".
Comparing herself to a model in a porn magazine, the teacher told the teenage pupils: "That's what my p***y looks like."
Bowen first joined the school in the 1980s, the court heard.
She began talking to the first teenager, even though she did not directly teach him, which "made him feel special".
The pair would spend lunchtime together, jurors heard, chatting and sometimes travelling back home together.
The now-adult man, who cannot be named, said he kept the relationship secret because he felt compelled to "protect" Bowen.
She had "drummed it" into him that he was to keep their relationship quiet.
"Years she got to teach because I remained silent," he added.
After engaging in a sexual relationship with the boy, Bowen was confronted by his mother after she became suspicious.
The mother eventually called the school to lodge a complaint but found out Bowen was no longer working there with "no reason or explanation given".
Bowen later told the teenager she was going to live at a kibbutz in Israel.
Jurors heard how Bowen urged the male pupils to "speak and joke openly about sex", who considered her to be "more like trying to be one of us, like our friend, than a teacher".
The paedophile teacher would dress in "sexually provocative" ways, with one pupil saying she acted like she was in "a Sabrina Carpenter video" while teaching.
Tobias Oliver, who did not know the two victims, previously told the court that lessons with Bowen "often strayed away from chemistry and became quite sexual".
He said Bowen would be "very flirtatious" and told the class how she enjoyed giving oral sex to her boyfriend.
The former pupil recalled an occasion when a boy in the chemistry teacher's class was reading a "sex manual", which he believed to be the Kama Sutra.
Bowen went through the book with the class, discussing "the merits of different sexual positions".
The victim first disclosed the abuse to his partner, who urged him to go to the police.
Bowen, who was first interviewed in 2015, claimed the boy at the time was a "bit of a nuisance" and "besotted" with her.
Richard Luker, who was head of science at the school in the late 1980s, told the court he recalled a complaint from the first alleged victim's mother, who raised concerns her son was planning to travel abroad with Bowen at the end of term.
The paedophile claimed the allegations were "total fabrication" and she had a medical condition, which at the time had not been diagnosed, which made sexual intercourse painful for her.
Bowen was granted bail until her sentencing hearing on November 20.
