The sex offender has been described as 5ft3in tall with a stocky build
Police have launched a manhunt after a child rapist has escaped a psychiatric clinic in Scotland.
Cliff Lyons Dobbie, 54, absconded the Rohallion Secure Care Clinic in Perth yesterday afternoon during a monitored outing.
Dobbie was convicted of raping a 10-year-old girl in Glasgow while on bail for sexually abusing a 12-year-old boy in 1990.
He is described as 5ft 3in tall, white and of a stocky, muscular build.
He is bald, with blue eyes and has a noticeable squint, and was last seen wearing blue ripped jeans, a light pink golf shirt with a blue jumper over the top and white trainers.
He was also wearing a black cap and thick black-rimmed glasses.
NHS Tayside said it is working with Police Scotland to find the child rapist.
Members of the public have been urged not to approach Dobbie.
Dobbie has tattoos on both arms, including a blue and red Rangers image on his left arm and an image of two blue tiger-like eyes on his right arm.
He speaks with a strong Glaswegian accent and has links in the city and surrounding area.
