Joe Biden's son has shared an emotional update on his father's cancer diagnosis.
The former US President announced he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer just four months after he left the White House back in May 2025.
Now, Hunter Biden has spoken out about his father's heartbreaking battle with the disease, explaining that it is "really sad to watch".
"I wish he would complain more, because it’s not good — the cancer has spread,” Hunter told the BBC, explaining the disease had metastasised to his bones "and further".
"It’s very painful... very debilitating," he said. "Cancer is really hard. It’s really sad to watch."
"My dad is, to this day, the centre of our family. He’s the best father, the best husband, the best grandfather," the former first son added.
Last May, the Democrat shared a positive update, telling reporters he was "feeling good" after he delivered a Memorial Day speech the same month his diagnosis was made public.
"The prognosis is good, we’re working on it," Mr Biden said.

"It’s all a matter of taking a pill, one particular pill, for the next six weeks. And the expectation is we’re going to be able to beat this," the 46th President added.
Last month, Mr Biden said he had been spending "a lot of time" with his family, all of whom have spent years in the Washington limelight.
"I’m dealing with a cancer diagnosis, been getting treatment, and it’s going really well," he said.
"I want to thank all those who have offered their prayers and support and well-wishes. It’s meant the world to me and to Jill," he said.

His new memoir, titled "Promise Me, America", will come out later this year in November.
Prostate cancer is one of the most common diseases in the US, impacting one in eight men in America throughout their life, the American Cancer Society said.
It is also one of the most treatable forms of cancer.
Spectators became increasingly worried for Mr Biden's health during the end of his presidential term, especially during the start of the Democrats' 2024 campaign.
More recently, Jill admitted she was "frightened" by his debate performance and, at that point in time, believed he was having a medical emergency.
She told CBS News: "I was frightened, because I had never ever seen Joe like that before or since. Never.
"I don't know what happened. As I watched it, I thought, 'Oh, my God, he's having a stroke.' And it scared to me death."
His poor performance in the debate was lambasted by scores of political analysts and pundits, raising concerns about his ability to continue his job as President for another four years.
His campaign team at the time insisted he would not step down as the Democrat candidate after the debate.
