The Boston and Skegness MP slammed Kemi Badenoch and Andy Burnham

Richard Tice has told GB News the "the cowards are clucking away" as he took aim at other parties for refusing to stand against Nigel Farage in Clacton.

The Reform UK leader said he would contest a “people versus the establishment” by-election in the Clacton constituency following intense scrutiny on him over unregistered donations of cash and support.

However, Labour, the Conservatives, Liberal Democrats and Restore Britain all confirmed they would not be fielding a candidate in the by-election.

Hitting back at the other parties, Boston and Skegness MP Mr Tice hit back at the other parties with an impression of a chicken.

Speaking to GB News, Mr Tice said: "Honestly, these people, they have been for weeks and weeks coming after Nigel saying that he's he's guilty. It's appalling.

"'There's going to be an inquiry. He's going to be found guilty, and then there's going to be a bar election.' So Nigel says, 'Fine, bring it on. Let's have a by-election. Let's have a debate. Let's find out who really understands that Britain is broken and only Reform can fix it.'

"All of a sudden they're running for the hills. I mean, you couldn't make it up. Apparently, Ed Davey is now saying maybe we should stop this by election.

"I mean, do they want a by-election or not? Do they like democracy or not? Oh, no."

Mr Tice then turned his ire to Kemi Badenoch, who took aim at Mr Farage, with the Conservative leader calling on her Reform UK counterpart to "man up".

She said: "We will be standing a candidate in the real by-election, which will follow the standards investigation into Nigel Farage’s fishy finances. We will not be standing a candidate in the fake by-election that Farage is causing to distract people from what is happening."

In response, Reform UK's Deputy Leader said: "There must be a by election, in which case why not stand the candidate? Why not get it over with? I mean, the British people and the good voters of Clacton will think it's utterly ludicrous if the establishment insists on a second by election.

"To add to the madness, they whinge about the cost of the by election. So [Mr Farage] said 'don't worry about that. We'll pay for it' and they went 'Oh, no, no, you can't do that. No, no, we didn't mean it.' Really. I mean the hypocrisy of these people."

Turning his attention to likely next prime minister Andy Burnham, Mr Tice slammed the "staged" by-election in Makerfield, which the former Greater Manchester Mayor won, beating Reform UK's Rob Kenyon with a majority of 9,231.

He said: "Of course, Andy Burnham doesn't like democracy. Not when it means that there might be a general election. I mean, this stuff's bonkers. And Nigel, quite rightly, is sick of the establishment essentially hounding him, trying to kill him off.

"What about the cost of the staged Makerfield byelection to sort of lever Andy Burnham into Number 10.

However, he was quickly shut down by GB News Political Editor Christopher Hope, who challenged Mr Tice's comments.

He said: "I can't quite believe what we're hearing from Richard Tice.

"A staged by election? You fought that by election was a proper candidate. Why is it suddenly staged? Because you lost. You're a bad loser. It's ridiculous for you to say that."

Mr Tice responded by saying: "What's going on is the establishment have been outsmarted. They've been sussed by Nigel.

"We're sick of it. We're sick of the hounding. We're sick of the lawbreaking."
