The Queen approached the British player unannounced as he was fastening his shoelaces in a hilarious clip
The Princess of Wales praised Arthur Fery's Wimbledon triumph as a "fantastic achievement" in a social media message posted this evening.
Writing on social media, she congratulated the 23-year-old for becoming the first British wildcard to advance to the Gentlemen's Singles semi-finals during the Open Era, adding that his performance "has inspired so many" and wishing him well for the next round.
Meanwhile, the official Royal Family account, speaking for King Charles and Queen Camilla, also celebrated what it described as "a magnificent win" and noted that Her Majesty had been "delighted to watch" the match on Centre Court.
Mr Fery, who was raised just 10 minutes from the All England Club, will now face second seed Alexander Zverev on Friday.
Queen Camilla made an unexpected visit to SW19 today, personally greeting Mr Fery moments before his career-defining quarter-final.
Her Majesty approached the British player unannounced as he was fastening his shoelaces ahead of his Centre Court appearance.
The 23-year-old rose to his feet and turned to face the Queen, who shook his hand before making her way to the Royal Box with her sister, Annabel Elliot.
"Nice to meet you," Mr Fery could be heard saying during the brief exchange.

Dressed in a turquoise chiffon creation by Anna Valentine, the Queen watched from the Royal Box throughout the match.
She joined spectators in giving Mr Fery a standing ovation following his victory, applauding enthusiastically alongside the jubilant crowd.
At a press conference following his triumph, Mr Fery spoke about the encounter with Her Majesty. "We were just getting ready to come on and she came to say hello to introduce yourself to both me and Flavio," he explained.
"And I mean, it's obviously an honour to play in front of her, and great to meet her. She had some really kind words for me at the end as well."

The young Briton described the experience as something truly remarkable. "So, yeah, playing in front of tennis legends, and now the Queen, it's special," he said.
After the match, the Queen waited to offer her personal congratulations. "I told her how much of an honour it was for me to play in front of her, and she just said, 'Congratulations, keep going.'
"I told her it was my birthday on Sunday, so it would be great to play the Wimbledon final on my birthday," Mr Fery revealed.
Mr Fery secured his place in Wimbledon history by defeating Italian ninth seed Flavio Cobolli in straight sets on Centre Court this afternoon. The victory makes him only the second wildcard ever to reach a Wimbledon semi-final.
The 23-year-old dropped to the ground after sealing the win with an ace, then approached the net to shake hands with his opponent.
"I can't believe it, it's incredible playing on Centre Court for the second time, the second win," Mr Fery told courtside interviewer Lee McKenzie.
When asked about his preparation for Friday's semi-final, he admitted: "I don't know as I've never been in this position before. I'm just going to keep going, I've been doing a great for the last 10 days I'm just going to keep going and see where that takes me."
