The Canadian stylist's new club comes years after her reported falling-out with the Duchess of Sussex
Jessica Mulroney, the Canadian stylist once regarded as Meghan Markle's closest confidante, has unveiled a new venture: a private members' club called The Haus Of Her.
The 46-year-old is pitching the club as a space dedicated to "women reinvesting in themselves."
Ms Mulroney has announced that the club is open for applications, declaring: "We are accepting membership requests NOW."
The launch comes years after her widely reported falling-out with the Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan is said to have distanced herself from Ms Mulroney after the stylist became embroiled in a race controversy in 2020, effectively ending what had been one of her most prominent friendships.
The row that triggered the rift erupted in 2020, when Ms Mulroney found herself at the centre of a public controversy.
The Duchess of Sussex reportedly cut ties with her in the aftermath, freezing out the woman who had previously been considered her best friend.
The pair's bond had been highly visible, not least at the royal wedding in May 2018, where Ms Mulroney's sons served as page boys during the ceremony at Windsor Castle.
Before the fallout, Ms Mulroney had been among the most recognisable figures in Meghan's inner circle, with their friendship attracting significant media attention on both sides of the Atlantic.
Despite the estrangement, Jessica's husband Ben Mulroney, from whom she is now separated, has suggested the relationship between the two women is not entirely severed.
Earlier this year, he stated that Jessica and Meghan remain on "positive terms."
That claim has fuelled speculation that the duchess could well become a member of The Haus Of Her herself.
Meghan, meanwhile, has been keeping busy with public appearances alongside Prince Harry.
The couple recently attended a gala in Canada celebrating the David Foster Foundation's 40th anniversary, where the duchess wore a black gown by Canadian designer Greta Constantine and jewellery that once belonged to Princess Diana.
