Despite the Emmy recognition, sources have indicated there are 'currently no plans for a third season,' though future specials remain possible

Meghan Markle's Netflix show With Love, Meghan has secured a nomination at the Daytime Emmy Awards, organisers announced today.

The Duchess of Sussex's lifestyle series will compete in the Outstanding Lifestyle Program category against four other contenders: A Different Breed, George to the Rescue, The Motherhood and The Wizard of Paws.

The winner of the prestigious television honour will be revealed at the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony, scheduled for Friday, October 30.

The nomination marks a significant achievement for the 44-year-old former actress's foray into lifestyle programming, following her departure from royal duties.

The programme showcased the duchess sharing her enthusiasm for culinary arts, home entertaining and gardening across its episodes.

A number of notable guests appeared alongside Meghan throughout the series, including comedian and actress Mindy Kaling, television personality Chrissy Teigen, fashion expert Tan France and author Jay Shetty.

Family members also made appearances on the show, with Prince Harry, 41, featuring in occasional cameos alongside Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland.

The intimate format allowed viewers a glimpse into the domestic pursuits that the Duchess has embraced since stepping back from frontline royal duties in 2020.

With Love, Meghan launched on Netflix in March 2025, climbing to 10th position on the streaming platform's global Top 10 within its first week, accumulating 2.6 million views and 12.6 million hours of viewing time.

By July 2025, Netflix's Engagement Report placed the series at number 383 for the first half of the year, with 5.3 million total views.

A second series, filmed consecutively with the first, debuted on August 26, 2025, followed by a festive special later that year.

LATEST ROYAL NEWS:

Despite the Emmy recognition, sources have indicated there are "currently no plans for a third season," though future specials remain possible.

The Sussexes initially held a reported £80million overall deal with Netflix, comparable to the arrangement between the streaming service and the Obamas' Higher Ground production company.

Speaking at Fortune's Most Powerful Women Summit in October 2025, Meghan explained: "The extension of it, which was such an incredible sign of the strength of our partnership, was now being in a first-look deal.

"Which is also exciting because it gives us flexibility to go to our partners first, then at the same time, shop content that might not be the right fit for Netflix but has a home somewhere else."

However, in March 2026, Meghan severed ties with Netflix and took complete control of her lifestyle brand, As Ever, amid concerns the streamer was holding the business back.

In a statement concerning the split, Netflix said: "Meghan’s passion for elevating everyday moments in beautiful yet simple ways inspired the creation of the As Ever brand, and we are glad to have played a role in bringing that vision to life.

"As it was always intended, Meghan will continue growing the brand and take it into its next chapter independently, and we look forward to celebrating how she continues to bring joy to households around the world."
