The controversial sport of Polo has previously been criticised by the animal rights organisation PETA, who expressed concerns about the poor treatment of the horses used during the matches.
The five-episode docuseries titled POLO follows athletes competing in the sport around the US.
Fans were quick to express their frustrations with the Sussexes' latest collaboration with Netflix, citing concerns over the treatment of the horses during the sport.
One fan wrote: “Watching a series that glorifies animal abuse is utterly despicable. Shame on you Netflix.”
