Kensington Palace has announced that Prince William and Catherine are set to attend a glitzy red carpet premiere next week.
The Prince and Princess of Wales will walk the red carpet at ODEON Luxe Leicester Square for the world premiere of Digger.
The screening, taking place on September 22, will serve as the 73rd Royal Film Performance.
The event will be jointly presented by Warner Bros. Pictures and the Film and TV Charity.
The tradition stretches back more than a century in the charity's history, with this year's gala continuing its role as a major fundraiser for workers across the UK's film, television and cinema sectors.
On arrival, the royal couple will be welcomed by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant alongside senior figures from the Film and TV Charity before making their way along the red carpet.
They will then be introduced to cast and crew members, among them Tom Cruise and director Alejandro G. Iñárritu.
Once inside the cinema, the Prince and Princess of Wales will meet beneficiaries of the charity ahead of the screening itself.
Digger was produced at Pinewood Studios, lending the premiere a distinctly British flavour.
Prince William holds the role of BAFTA President and is committed to championing the domestic film industry.
The Film and TV Charity, which has been organising the Royal Film Performance since 1946, channels proceeds towards supporting industry professionals, many of whom work behind the scenes to bring productions to audiences.
Its services encompass a round-the-clock helpline, complimentary counselling, and financial grants for those in need.
The organisation also runs a series of mental health programmes aimed at cultivating healthier and more supportive conditions across the industry.
The charity's goal is to ensure that every worker in film, television and cinema has access to assistance when they need it most.
