Royal representation at the tournament began on Monday with the Duke of Kent
The second day of the 2026 Wimbledon Championships saw Princess Diana's nieces make a stylish entrance at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club this afternoon.
Lady Eliza Spencer and Lady Amelia Spencer, the daughters of Earl Charles Spencer, attended the prestigious tournament alongside Greg Mallett, who is married to Lady Amelia.
Swedish-Albanian model and television personality Misse Beqiri also accompanied the group as they arrived at one of the summer social calendar's most anticipated events.
Royal representation at the tournament began on Monday, when the Duke of Kent attended the opening day accompanied by Lady Susan Hussey.
The duke held the position of President of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club for more than 50 years, having taken on the role in 1969.
Throughout his tenure, he was a fixture at the Championships each summer, presenting trophies to the victorious players.
His Royal Highness relinquished the presidency in 2021, with Catherine, Princess of Wales assuming the position.
On the courts, attention turns to Serena Williams, whose return to singles competition marks her first match in 1,396 days.
The 44-year-old American will take on Maya Joint, an opponent 24 years younger, in the day's third scheduled contest.
British hopes were resting with Katie Boulter, who began her Wimbledon campaign today following Jannik Sinner's successful defence of his title on Centre Court on Monday.
However, Ms Boulter is out of Wimbledon, beaten in a shock defeat by teenage qualifier Tyra Caterina Grant.
The British number two was comprehensively swept aside by Ms Grant, 18, in a 6-4 6-2 defeat. The crushing defeat, on Court Three, was over in just one hour and six minutes.
Disappointment also surrounds Jack Draper's absence, who was compelled to pull out of the Championships on Monday.
Beyond the sporting drama, the tournament continues to attract considerable attention for its off-court glamour.
The Royal Box and VIP hospitality areas have drawn an impressive array of famous faces to SW19.
Among those bringing their summer style to the exclusive suites today were Richard Osman, Dermot O'Leary, Cat Burns, Jamie Cullum, Patrick McEnroe, Fiona Shaw, Mollie King, Nicky Hilton Rothschild and Sue Barker.
