The two men will step into the ring in Saudi Arabia on February 17

Tyson Fury has responded to suggestions he could retire after his upcoming bout with Oleksandr Usyk.

The 35-year-old will finally go up against the Ukrainian on February 17, with that battle previously delayed.

Fury is raring to go, however, and insists he still has the hunger to succeed at the highest level.

Eddie Hearn has been among those to suggest the Briton may soon hang up his gloves as he enters the twilight years of his career.

Yet Fury has now denied he's planning to walk away in an interview with the Daily Mail.

He said: "I'm not interested in Eddie Hearn. Honesty I'm not interested in what he has to say. Eddie Hearn now works for me.

"Why would I be interested in retirement? Honestly, I don't care what any of these people have to say, who even are they now?

Fury was also asked how he's preparing for his bout with Usyk.

Many feel the Ukrainian will be the Gypsy King's biggest test yet, with Usyk winning all 21 of his career fights to date.

And Fury has now joked he's drinking and eating 's**t', while also not training.

"I've just been doing what I usually do. Drinking, eating s**t, not training, do what I usually do," he said.

Fury did, however, then admit he was training - and says he's working hard to boost his chances of reigning supreme.

"It's no big thing. It's a boxing fight, I've had plenty of them before.

"It's not like I've never been in the gym before. I've just come off a 10 round fight just a couple of weeks ago."

Fury has faced criticism for the way he performed during his recent victory over Francis Ngannou.

The 35-year-old was knocked down in the third round of that fight in Saudi Arabia last month.

Yet Fury insists he performed well and isn't bothered about the criticism he's received.

"I think the fight went really well," he confidently stated.

"Now I am onto my next one. Can't go any better than that can it?

"Plus, did I say anything at all on the night or after that wasn't positive? No I didn't.

"In terms of body language, I had a big black eye and I had a cut on my face. How the flipping heck am I going to look?"
