The duo are set to tie the knot in New York

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have reportedly banned presents from guests for their wedding.

The superstar couple, who are expected to host hundreds of family members, friends and celebrities during a multi-day celebration, have instructed close friends and family not to bring wedding gifts despite the scale of the event.

Instead, invitees have been encouraged to make charitable donations, with the couple providing a hand-picked list of organisations they would prefer guests to support.

The unusual request was revealed by San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle, one of the NFL players invited to the wedding.

Speaking to ExtraTV, Kittle confirmed the couple had made their wishes clear before the celebrations, insisting guests should arrive empty-handed.

The no-gifts policy is one of several details to emerge about what is expected to be one of the most high-profile celebrity weddings in recent years.

Swift and Kelce, who announced their engagement in August 2025, are celebrating over several days in New York, with Madison Square Garden transformed for the occasion.

The famous venue has been selected because of its exceptional security, allowing guests to arrive through underground VIP entrances while remaining hidden from photographers.

Preparations have intensified in recent days, with lorries reportedly delivering trees, foliage, drapes, lighting equipment, a giant white staircase and an oversized mirror ball as crews transform the arena into what has been described as an enchanted garden inspired by the couple's engagement.

The main reception is expected to host between 1,000 and 1,200 guests and continue into the early hours.

A host of A-list names are reportedly expected to attend, including Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Zoë Kravitz, Suki Waterhouse, the Haim sisters, Travis's brother Jason Kelce and Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

However, reports have suggested Prince William and Princess Kate will not be attending despite months of speculation.

Guests are also expected to witness performances from Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw during the celebrations.

Security for the wedding has been organised on a level comparable to a major state event.

Staff involved in preparing the venue have reportedly been required to sign non-disclosure agreements, surrender their mobile phones and wear specialist wristbands before being allowed access.

With costs reportedly estimated at between $3million (£2.3m) and $5million (£4m), the wedding is expected to rank among the most extravagant celebrity celebrations in recent years.
