Emma Raducanu will undergo a decisive fitness assessment at 11am on Sunday morning as she attempts to prove herself ready for Wimbledon.
The British star abandoned her Saturday afternoon training session at the All England Club early, sparking concerns she may be forced to pull out of the Championships.
Following the curtailed practice, Raducanu pushed back her scheduled pre-tournament press conference to Sunday, buying additional time to evaluate her condition.
The 2021 US Open champion's participation now hangs in the balance ahead of what should be her home Grand Slam appearance, with her fitness test representing a final opportunity to confirm her readiness.

During Saturday's session, Raducanu was visibly hampered, sporting a support bandage on her lower-right shin throughout.
She was overheard telling her coach Andrew Richardson that stepping into her shots had become problematic.
The practice ended abruptly when Raducanu made a throat-slashing gesture to signal she was finished, having managed just four and a half games against world number 24 Anna Kalinskaya.
At the point she called a halt, Kalinskaya held a commanding 4-0 lead with a 30-0 advantage in the practice set.
Earlier, Raducanu had completed a lower-intensity hitting session with regular partner Alexis Canter, but court coverage against Kalinskaya proved too demanding.
The warning signs had been building throughout the week. Inquiries to the All England Club's practice team revealed Raducanu did not book a single court between Tuesday and Friday.

Her management have maintained she is simply managing lingering niggles from her Queen's final defeat to Donna Vekic a fortnight ago.
However, the abruptness of these developments points towards a potential ankle injury or other acute setback rather than the minor issues she referenced after that final.

Should Raducanu be forced to withdraw, British hopes at this year's Championships would take a significant blow.
She had been scheduled to face Croatia's Antonia Ruzic, ranked 57th in the world, in the opening match on No 1 Court on Monday lunchtime.
The draw offered a potentially winnable opener, though tougher tests loomed with former French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko a possible second-round opponent and world number one Aryna Sabalenka potentially waiting in round three.
Jack Draper's fitness remains uncertain despite reaching the Eastbourne semi-finals, while the 21 British players in the draw face a challenging path overall.
