Dubbed AppleCare One, it lets you insure multiple gadgets — iPhone, iPad, AirPods, Mac — for a single monthly fee. Once covered, AppleCare One offers unlimited battery replacement, unlimited repairs for accidental damage, and 24/7 priority access to experts for assistance with these products. Every repair uses genuine components from Apple Store locations or the vast network of Apple Authorised Service Providers.

You'll be protected in the UK and across the globe, handy for frequent fliers who travel with gadgets.

Starting at £16.99 per month, AppleCare One covers up to three devices, with the flexibility to add more at any time for an additional £4.99 per month per device. For comparison, AppleCare+ starts from £7.99 for iPhone, £4.99 for Mac or iPad, and £1.49 for AirPods.

So the exact savings with AppleCare One depend on the devices in your collection. But if you choose AppleCare One for an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch together, you'll be saving as much as £11.48 per month compared to maintaining separate AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss plans for each device.

Apple will open up AppleCare One to new subscribers from August 4, 2025. You'll be able to sign up on Apple's website or at your nearest Apple Store. Those who already have an AppleCare+ plan can also sign up directly on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

Bob Borchers, Apple Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing, said: "At Apple, we’re focused on creating and delivering exceptional experiences. With AppleCare One, customers in the UK can now enjoy the trusted protection of AppleCare+ in a way that’s simpler and more flexible than ever before — one plan, one price, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing all their eligible products can be covered."

You'll need an Apple device that's no more than four years old and in decent condition to add it to an AppleCare One. That's a much longer window than the current 60-day window to purchase AppleCare+.

Alongside the launch of AppleCare One, Apple is also bringing AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss to iPad and Apple Watch in the UK. The single-device plan option is now available for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

It covers up to two incidents of theft or loss per year on top of battery replacement service, priority support from Apple experts, and unlimited repairs for accidental damage.

Most Apple products come with one year of hardware coverage through the limited warranty. AppleCare plans extend that hardware coverage and provide additional features like accidental damage protection and 24/7 priority support.

If you purchase the same Apple-branded gadget from John Lewis, the British retailer will extend the hardware warranty for two years at no extra cost.
