It could cost up to £24 more each year to stream Paramount+ shows and films
If you have a Paramount+ subscription, prepare to dig a little deeper in your wallet each month. The streaming service — best known for hit series like Yellowstone, Star Trek, South Park, and others — will be raising its monthly prices in the UK in the next fortnight.
The UK price increase comes as Paramount+ hiked up its prices in the US back in January.
Paramount+ hasn't updated its pricing page in the UK to reflect the incoming price hike. Instead, the price increase was first spotted on mobile network Three's support page, customers on select bundle plans are finding out their monthly bill will be higher starting on August 27.
This is a common offering from network providers, where you'll be treated to a monthly subscription for cheaper or at no extra cost. It's a great way to explore new streaming services and access more content.
However, some customers are only just discovering that the cost was folded into their monthly contract with this price hike.
A Three customer told ISPreview: "Watch out with Three; they sent me an email about the price of Paramount going up. I have literally never used Paramount and never will, so I decided to go and remove the add-on from my account to avoid getting billed when the free period runs out."
If you've found yourself paying and would like to cancel the subscription from your Three plan, the company says you can complete this in the Three app or My3 — Three's online account management website. Once cancelled, you'll still have access until your next bill date.
One thing to note is that Three says if you cancel near your next bill date, you might still see a charge on your next bill. However, they say you can reach out to them, and they'll sort it on your behalf.

This isn't the first subscription streaming service we've seen undergo price hikes this year.
Netflix has once again bumped up the prices of its subscription plans in the US. The streaming giant quietly updated its pricing page, and the changes take effect immediately for anyone signing up for a new plan. And while there haven't been any confirmations that the platform will extend these hikes to other countries, history indicates the UK won't be able to avoid them for long.
Amazon also wants you to pay more for Prime Video with a new tier called Prime Video Ultra. Similarly, Disney+ increased prices last October.
