Beaches in Sussex, Norfolk and Devon proved to be the most popular for enjoying the UK sun.
As temperatures continue to rise in the UK, lots of Britons will be looking to spend time at their nearest beach.
While the South of England has many famous beaches, there are sandy spots all across the UK that could be worth visiting.
West Wittering Beach in West Sussex took the top spot, according to the list which was based on beaches picked by The Beach Guide website users.
The Beach Guide described it as an "attractive sandy beach".
Tourists also love the British beach, which has gained an impressive rating of four out of five stars on Tripadvisor.
One tourist on the review website described it as an "amazing beach" while another praised the facilities.
The beach boasts toilets, a cafe, a beach shop and lots of places to grab lunch or cool down with an ice cream.
The Tripadvisor user commented: "What a lovely long beach with beautiful sand dunes."
Camber Sands Beach in East Sussex, Holkham Beach in Norfolk, Woolacombe Beach in Devon and Kynance Cove in Cornwall made up the rest of the top five.
If looking for the best beach in the North, Bamburgh Castle Beach in Northumberland and Filey Beach in Yorkshire are recommended.
