A UK holiday hotspot has been ranked number two in the world
National parks are areas of stunning beauty and a good place to start when planning a holiday.
A new study shared the most talked about parks in the world and a UK spot came in second place.
The Lake District had 4,136,986 mentions on TikTok, according to research by long-haul holiday specialist Travelbag.
The research looked at 98 national parks across the world to pull the results.
The Lake District is known for its stunning mountains and lakes, making it a firm favourite for a UK holiday.
The National Park has an impressive 4.5 out of 5 stars on Tripadvisor.
They wrote: "The Lake District National Park is a lovely place to go to walk and see amazing scenery.
"So many friendly people and the service in most cafes and restaurants were fantastic! I will definitely come again."
Another said there was plenty to do, including some stunning walks.
"So many gorgeous views to see and cute pubs to have a pint in. Worth the traffic jams."
There are lots of spots worth visiting across all parts of the UK.
The cheapest British staycation spot has been named a "beautiful" place.
This comes as the best pub in the UK was named as a spot in the north of England.
