MSC Cruises has revealed more details aboard its new flagship, MSC World Asia, which will feature a spa that cruisers are sure to love.

The ship will boast a stunning 1,260m² MSC Aurea Spa, drawing on Asian design and cultural influences to create what the cruise line calls its most impressive wellness experience yet.

Seven-night Mediterranean voyages kick off on December 4, 2026, with ports of call including Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Messina and Valletta.

New details inside the ship show the spa will offer cutting-edge treatments that are sure to impress guests.

Dry Float Therapy by Starpool lets you ease muscle tension and drift into deep relaxation, all without getting wet. There is Whole-Body Cryotherapy to help with muscle recovery and circulation, plus Iyashi Dôme Infrared Therapy, which takes its cues from Japanese wellness traditions to promote natural detoxification.

LPG Endermologie rounds things out, boosting collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production to help smooth and firm the skin.

It's not just about treatments, though, as the whole experience is tailored to guests.

AI-powered skin and scalp analysis helps pinpoint exactly what your body needs, while FootBalance 3D foot scanning and bespoke facial treatments mean every recommendation is built around individual requirements.

Fitness fans won't feel left out either. The MSC Gym, powered by Technogym, features top-of-the-range equipment, functional training spaces, group classes and personalised coaching.

The Thermal Area should not be missed, with 12 different wellness experiences to explore. Guests can unwind in a Panoramic Sea-View Sauna, cool off in a Snow Room, or breathe in the therapeutic air of a Himalayan Salt Room.

There are also Japanese-inspired ganbanyoku beds, aromatic steam rooms, Finnish and bio saunas, invigorating experience showers, whirlpools and peaceful relaxation lounges. These are designed to bring together the restorative powers of heat, water and rest.

Senior vice president of onboard revenues at MSC Cruises, Georg Schmickler, said: "Wellness has become an increasingly important part of the travel experience, and our ambition with MSC World Asia was to create a spa that rivals the finest wellness destinations on land.

"By combining beautifully designed spaces, innovative therapies, advanced technologies and personalised experiences, we've created our most comprehensive wellness offering to date.

"Every aspect of the MSC Aurea Spa has been thoughtfully designed to help guests relax, recharge and leave feeling their very best."
