MSC Cruises has unveiled an exciting new dining concept that is set to make waves when MSC World Asia launches later this year.

The cruise line is bringing a Pan-Asian street food experience to the seas, and the setup is unlike anything it has done before.

The venue takes inspiration from the bustling food markets of Southeast Asia, capturing the energy and flavours of places like Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.

What makes it particularly clever is the three-in-one design, combining a sit-down restaurant, a cocktail bar and a grab-and-go option all under one roof.

So, how does it work? The specialty restaurant offers a relaxed setting with both indoor seating and a rooftop terrace, serving up a menu of one starter, main and dessert that encourages mixing and matching.

If you only want a drink, the bar serves up Southeast Asian-inspired cocktails, including jasmine mojitos, rose and strawberry daiquiris, and matcha coladas.

And for those looking for a quick bite between activities, there is a complimentary on-the-go window dishing out street food favourites like crispy seafood balls and fluffy bao buns throughout the day.

Senior director, Food & Beverage Product, at MSC Cruises, Stéphane Franchini, said: "With this new three-in-one venue, we are inviting guests to explore one of the world's most exciting food cultures in a way that is vibrant, welcoming and full of flavour. From the diverse range of dishes to the atmosphere of the space and the expertise of Chefs Xiao Wang and Luca Césarini, every detail has been carefully designed to create a truly immersive culinary journey."

The whole experience has been crafted to engage all the senses, with bold artwork, a specially curated soundtrack and live cooking stations bringing the atmosphere of markets across Indonesia, Singapore, South China, Thailand and Vietnam right onto the ship.
