Miles Owen, the 18-year-old son of Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen, was taken to hospital by ambulance earlier this week following complications related to his type 1 diabetes.
The teenager, who appears alongside his family in various television programmes documenting life at their remote Ravenseat Farm, required emergency medical attention after becoming unwell.
His mother shared news of the health scare with her social media followers, describing the ordeal as a "hard few days" for the family.
The young farmer had been "quite poorly" over recent days, according to the update posted on Amanda's Instagram account.

In a video shared on Instagram, Amanda appeared alongside her son to update fans on his condition. Miles told viewers he had "been to the hospital" after feeling "quite poorly this last day or two."
Amanda confirmed the severity of the situation, stating her son had been "a little bit ill. Well, quite a lot ill, actually - needed an ambulance."
The teenager reassured followers he is now recovering well. "Back now and feeling much better," Miles said, adding that he was "glad to be back" at the family's Yorkshire Dales home.
His mother expressed her relief, telling him: "You're feeling better, you're looking better."

Amanda displayed a message on screen during the video expressing her appreciation for those who treated her son. "Thank you so much to the ambulance crew, paramedics and all staff at Darlington Hospital," the message read.
She captioned the Instagram post: "It's been a hard few days but we're all here to tell the tale. I'm super proud of you, Miles."
The young farmer also paid tribute to the medical professionals who cared for him. "I can't thank them enough," Miles said of the NHS staff who responded to the emergency at the remote Yorkshire farm.
Within moments of sharing the update, the Owen pair found themselves inundated with well-wishes from concerned fans, many of whom had been through similar ordeals.

The Owen family first rose to prominence through Channel 5's Our Yorkshire Farm, which began broadcasting in 2018 and attracted audiences of over three million viewers per episode.
Amanda and her former husband Clive, who separated in 2022 after 22 years of marriage, share nine children together.
The couple continue to co-parent and recently appeared in a Channel 4 spin-off series called Our Farm Next Door, which follows them renovating a derelict farmhouse near Ravenseat.
