Strictly Come Dancing champion Ore Oduba's eight-year-old son was left in tears as he started at a new school following a series of major family changes after his parents' separation.
Mr Oduba, 40, and former TV researcher Portia Jett, 36, announced the end of their nine-year marriage in 2024.
Since then, the family has faced significant upheaval, including the sale of their Kent home and a change of school for their son Roman.
On Monday, Ms Jett shared an emotional update with followers on social media as Roman prepared for his first day at a new school after leaving his private prep school mid-term.

Ms Jett opened up about how she felt sending her son off to a new school
|Posting a photograph of herself embracing her son, she wrote: "I haven’t got this, but you have. First day at a new school, and I couldn’t be prouder of how he’s handled all the changes. Let’s do this."
However, the transition proved difficult for the youngster. In a later update, Ms Jett revealed Roman became upset after arriving at the school.
"Just dropped him off. He got really upset," she told followers.
She added: "God, as a parent, nothing prepares you for holding it together, smiling, being strong, supportive, and saying all the right things whilst all you want to do is cry too.

"I know it's just first-day nerves and, of course, anything new is scary, but I know he has got this."
Thankfully, the day ended on a positive note. Sharing an update after collecting Roman, Ms Jett said she was relieved to hear that he had settled in well and begun making friends.
"I'd been feeling anxious all day, but he had a good first day... his teacher said he was a little shy but made friends and did really well. So I'm happy... Tomorrow we go again," she wrote.
The school move comes months after Ms Jett revealed the family's decision to sell their Kent home, which she and Mr Oduba purchased in 2022.

She admitted at the time that breaking the news to their children had been particularly difficult.
"I told the children that we are selling the house," she told followers in March. "It's hard, especially for Roman, to have these conversations. He's really upset.
"I wanted to let the kids know, I tried to explain why. It's gutting, and I've known for a while."
Mr Oduba and Ms Jett are also parents to daughter Genie, four.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
Away from his family life, Mr Oduba has recently spoken candidly about his long-running battle with pornography addiction.
The broadcaster previously revealed that he had struggled with the issue for three decades after being exposed to adult images as a child.
The former CBeebies presenter said the addiction had a devastating impact on his life and mental health, and he has spoken publicly in an effort to raise awareness of children being exposed to sexual content online.
In a recent interview, Mr Oduba disclosed that he had spent thousands of pounds on pornography and acknowledged the financial consequences of the addiction.
