DJ Fat Tony has dramatically reversed his position on the controversial wedding dance involving Victoria Beckham, now heaping praise on the family after previously appearing to support Brooklyn's account of events.
The DJ, who was a longstanding member of the Beckhams' inner circle, initially shocked the couple when he appeared on This Morning following Brooklyn's explosive January statement and detailed what "really" occurred during the 2022 nuptials.
In his original telling, Tony claimed singer Marc Anthony had orchestrated an awkward moment by calling "the most beautiful woman in the room" to the dance floor before naming Victoria rather than bride Nicola Peltz.
However, Tony has now shifted blame to the ITV programme, stating: "I went on [This Morning] to change a narrative of the word 'inappropriate' and where it was going for Victoria, where it was going for Brooklyn. It was not a nice situation."

Despite Tony's newfound flattery towards the couple, sources indicate his change of heart has done little to repair the damage.
A source told the Daily Mail: "Fat Tony was seen as one of the main witnesses against Victoria at the wedding and very pro-Brooklyn and Nicola. Now look at how he's changed his tune. The Beckhams are furious at all of this."
The insider questioned why the DJ chose to speak publicly in the first place, given their previously close relationship.

David and Victoria Beckham were understood to be 'furious' with the DJ

"There is so much hurt and sorrow wrapped up in the fallout with Brooklyn.
"For someone to stir it up the way [Tony] did was awful. And now he's come out and praised them profusely. It's baffling."
Celebrity PR expert Mayah Riaz believes Tony's reversal actually hands a significant advantage to David and Victoria rather than their estranged son.

"From a crisis communications perspective, I'd say this is arguably a bigger win for David and Victoria than it is for Brooklyn and Nicola," she explained to The Mirror.
The communications specialist noted that Tony's initial appearance had seemed to corroborate Brooklyn's version of events as an independent witness to claims that had otherwise been purely personal.
"We know that public opinion is often shaped less by the original allegation and more by what happens afterwards," Ms Riaz added.
She continued: "When someone who is perceived to be a neutral party starts rowing back and clarifying their position, or even expressing sympathy for the other side, it makes us reassess the entire narrative."
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have torched their ties to the Beckhams | GETTYMs Riaz further argued that the Beckhams' decision to largely avoid public confrontation throughout the saga represents their greatest strategic strength.
"I always tell my clients that in PR terms, silence can be more powerful than rebuttal," she stated.
The expert observed that while Brooklyn and Nicola have continued airing their grievances publicly, David and Victoria have projected restraint and family loyalty, an image that typically resonates strongly with audiences.
She warned that the ongoing dispute risks becoming less about Brooklyn's actual concerns and more about why the conflict continues to play out in the media.
"It's worth remembering that in celebrity PR, the person who looks calm often wins the room," Ms Riaz concluded.
