Tom Harwood has shared a nostalgic throwback to his early days as a teenage YouTuber, reflecting on his old bedroom vlogs in a post that has delighted followers online.
The GB News presenter posted a clip on X showing himself aged just 13, filming content from his bedroom in 2010 on a now-defunct YouTube channel.
“I can’t believe I’m sharing this, but here is 13 year old Tom, vlogging on his YouTube channel from his bedroom,” he wrote.
Describing the footage as “from the year of our lord 2010,” Tom joked that it was “none of my proudest work,” but said he had no regrets about the experience.

He reflected on how creating videos at a young age helped shape his skills and confidence over time.
“Making these silly videos over time taught me so much about video editing, talking to cameras, and being effective on social media,” he said.
“I failed a lot before I got better. But I had the chance to try. I developed skills that have helped me enormously in adult life."
The presenter went on to say that his life trajectory would likely have looked very different had he not been able to experiment with making videos and sharing them online.

“Had I not been able to make silly videos on YouTube – and get motivated/excited about thousands of people watching them – my subsequent life would have certainly looked very different,” he said.
In a tongue-in-cheek remark, he added: “Some might argue that would have been for the better, but it would have certainly been for the more boring.”
The post quickly attracted a wave of affectionate reactions from followers.
