Ford has called on benefits claimants to take action to ensure they are not impacted by sweeping changes to the scheme for people with disabilities.
The world's largest Ford dealership group, Trust Ford, has run a series of adverts during popular podcasts encouraging motorists to "beat" the upcoming changes.
It encourages drivers to access the Motability scheme before rules are tightened on July 1, after being confirmed by Chancellor Rachel Reeves in the Autumn Budget.
The advert highlights that people who receive the higher-rate disability living allowance or personal independence payment may be eligible for a new Ford, The Telegraph reported.
It continues: "And now, from the first of July 2026, major changes will apply to new leases.
"Choose your next Motability vehicle before this date and our award-winning Motability specialists will be on hand to ensure you beat the changes and keep today's benefits for the next three years."
Sweeping changes will be introduced on July 1, with the Government estimating that reforms to tax breaks available to Motability will raise more than £1billion over the next five years.
Labour stated that the scheme benefits from generous tax breaks that are "subsidising provision beyond the scheme's core objectives".

From July 1, VAT relief for top-up payments made to lease more expensive vehicles will be removed for new leases.
Insurance Premium Tax at the standard rate of 12 per cent will also apply at the standard rate to insurance contracts on the scheme, the Chancellor announced.
Tax changes will not apply to vehicles designed for, or substantially and permanently adapted for, wheelchair or stretcher users.
Chancellor Rachel Reeves added that disability benefit payments and their eligibility will remain unaffected by these changes.

Motability previously announced that it would remove luxury vehicles from the scheme, discontinue overseas breakdown cover and reduce its lease mileage limit.
In total, 10 Ford models are available through the Motability scheme, although drivers can choose from 84 different variants.
The models include the Puma, Focus Estate, Focus Hatchback, Kuga, Tourneo Courier, Tourneo Connect, Grand Tourneo Connect, Explorer, Capri and Mustang Mach-e.
Trust Ford's adverts have been criticised by Callum McGoldrick, from the TaxPayers' Alliance, who warned that the advertising could "undermine public confidence".

A Government spokesperson told The Telegraph that the scheme is independently administered by Motability Operations, with dealers being responsible for their own marketing.
It added: "We are committed to ensuring the scheme continues to deliver for the disabled people it was designed to support, and we're reforming Motability to save the taxpayer £1billion over five years and put money back in people's pockets."
