Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Bank of Scotland are all part of Lloyds Banking Group
Lloyds Banking Group will close 35 more bank branches across the UK.
Halifax will shut 15 of its sites across England and Scotland from next year, while Lloyds is set to close 18 bank branches.
The closures will begin in 2024, with the earliest set to close its doors for the final time in January.

The company said as digital banking use has grown, branch visits have fallen, with the use of these 35 sites falling by an average 54 per cent (and up to 76 per cent) in the last five years.
It said 21 million customers regularly use online banking, 18.1 million of which use mobile banking via the Group’s apps.
Lloyds Banking Group has announced they will introduce 15 Community Bankers, intended to provide “targeted banking support” in local communities where a bank branch is closing.

A Lloyds Banking Group spokesperson said: “Our customers are increasingly using digital channels to manage their money – we now have over 21 million customers choosing to bank online.
“We’re introducing more Community Bankers to provide targeted support in local communities, alongside other services such as our mobile app, online and over the phone. Customers can also bank with us through the Post Office or in a Banking Hub.”
Lloyds Banking Group said all of these branch locations have a Post Office nearby, and the majority have at least one free-to-use ATM close by.
Members of staff who work at the affected branches will be offered a role at another branch or elsewhere in the business, the Group said.
