Twelve people have been killed after a tourist bus crashed overnight in Hungary.
The bus, which was full of Polish tourists, went into a ditch and overturned at around 1am local time this morning.
The bus was travelling the M3 motorway, near the town of Mezokeresztes, when the crash occurred.
Police have said the driver likely fell asleep, and he has been taken into custody.
There were 57 passengers onboard, as well as two drivers, according to state news agency MTI.
Polish foreign ministry spokesperson Maciej Wewior confirmed all of the people onboard the coach were Polish.
The bus was travelling from Poland's southeastern Podkarpackie, with passengers returning from a pilgrimage in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Those injured in the crash have since been taken to a nearby hospital.

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said on X that a "tragic bus accident involving Polish tourists" had occurred at that he was in contact with Hungarian authorities.
Polish President Karol Nawrocki posted: "It is with deep sorrow that I received the tragic news of the Polish bus accident in Hungary, in which so many of our compatriots died."
Local police said on their website: "A Polish-registered bus travelling on the M3 motorway towards Nyiregyhaza ... veered off the straight stretch of road into a ditch and overturned. Preliminary information suggests the driver likely fell asleep."
Hungarian President Peter Magyar offered condolences to the families of those killed in the crash, and thanked emergency services for their response.

The tragic crash comes just days after an explosion at a port on Rotterdam killed one person and injured several others.
The blast took place at a storage tank at the Gunvor Energy on Moezelweg in Europoort.
The Port of Rotterdam is the largest seaport in Europe and the 11th busiest port in the world by cargo tonnage.
Dutch media reported "multiple" people were injured and taken to hospital, as six ambulances, a trauma helicopter and fire crews were sent to the scene.
Police said that the cause of the blast was unclear.
A hired maintenance crew reportedly had been working on pipelines at the site and that something may have gone wrong as those pipes were being disconnected.
Traces of an explosion were visible on the sides of a storage tank.
Dutch safety authorities and police said they were investigating if reported power outages leading up the blast were connected.
