The Duchess of Sussex thanked her fans for the 'birthday love'

Meghan Markle has shared new pictures of herself wearing a swimsuit to mark her 45th birthday.

The Duchess of Sussex, who lives in Montecito with Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, could be seen jumping into a pool while holding balloons.

Two of the balloons read "Happy Birthday", and Meghan could be seen wearing a black swimsuit and stylish sunglasses.

The first picture showed the mother-of-two mid-jump, while the second photograph depicted the aftermath of the splash.

Meghan captioned the post: "Thank you for the birthday love!"

The social media post comes after the duches's lifestyle brand, As ever, shared its own tribute to Meghan.

The brand captioned its post: "Happy birthday to our founder, @meghan. Lighting No. 084 to celebrate!"

As ever shared four images, the first showing Meghan wearing a blue and white shirt while drinking a cup of tea.

The second picture showed a bottle of Champagne, three pots of As ever fruit spread and the No. 084 candle - which represents August 4, Meghan's birthday.

The third photograph was an adorable throwback image of the duchess as a child, with her hair in plaits and a framed portrait of her school, the Hollywood Little Red Schoolhouse, behind her.

Finally, the fourth image depicted an envelope captioned: "a birthday worth celebrating", all in lowercase.

As Meghan famously disables comments beneath her Instagram posts, Sussex fans took to X to praise the duchess's post.
