The royals made an unannounced appearance in Oxfordshire

Zara Tindall was spotted at the Cornbury Horse Trials on Friday, where she posed for a photograph with her aunt, the Duchess of Edinburgh.

Princess Anne's daughter wore £250 jeans from Citizens of Humanity and a £365 Fairfax & Favor barn jacket.

The mother-of-three carried a £295 Fairfax & Favor bag to complete her outfit.

Meanwhile, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh opted for a Soler Lena corduroy skirt, a Soler Lena corduroy jacket, and Penelope Chilvers cowboy boots worth £359.

Prince Edward's wife accessorised with a watch from Loewe and £149 earrings from Giulia Barela.

Mrs Tindall and the Duchess were not the only members of the Royal Family in attendance at the Cornbury House Horse Trials' third day.

Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi made an unannounced visit on Friday to the Cornbury House Horse Trials in Oxfordshire.

The couple appeared relaxed and visibly affectionate throughout the day, at one point cuddling up close together as they enjoyed the equestrian event.

They were also photographed beaming as they strolled around the grounds of the trials, which run annually from September 9 to 12.

The outing marks a notable public appearance for the pair, who have faced persistent speculation about the state of their marriage over the past 12 months.

Beatrice cut a striking figure in a Ulla Johnson Lyla Long Dress in Cypress Green, paired with Givenchy boots and a jacket from Byan.

Mr Mapelli Mozzi complemented her with a polished ensemble of a blue shirt, matching waistcoat, and chinos.

Their relationship has faced considerable scrutiny over the past year, with Mr Mapelli Mozzi undertaking frequent business trips overseas.

Mr Mapelli Mozzi himself put the speculation to rest last month when he marked Beatrice's 38th birthday with a public tribute on social media.

The Italian property developer posted a photograph of the pair together against a sunset backdrop overlooking the sea, accompanied by the message: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LOVE."
