Christian Horner has returned to the F1 paddock at the British Grand Prix.
Horner, 52, arrived at Silverstone ahead of this afternoon's race, making his first appearance since being relieved of his dual role as Red Bull team principal and chief executive.
The 52-year-old spent 20 years in charge of the team, guiding them to eight drivers' and six constructors' championships.
"It's great to be back here at Silverstone," Horner told Sky Sports.
"Ultimately I'm a fan, and the British Grand Prix is in town. I've not missed one since '93, so it's good to be here."
Horner shared that he has "enjoyed my time out" from the sport and is keen for a return to F1.
"I did 20 years straight with Red Bull guys. I was obviously doing other stuff before that, so it's the first time I've ever had a bit of time to get off the hamster wheel", he said.
"But for me, I'd only look at doing the right thing, something that really had an opportunity to win at the end of the day."

Horner has been linked with several teams, amid rumours of a return to Aston Martin or Alpine.
When asked about the prospect of Aston Martin, Horner said: "It's a great British brand. It's sad to see them really struggling as they are.
"But there's so much speculation. One week it's Aston, the next is Alpine, the next is somewhere else. I wish them all well today."
Regarding Alpine, he noted: "The main thing is F1 is in such a great place. The racing has been super this year, sitting back and watching it from behind the scenes.

"The interest in F1 is sky-high. There's so much interest for people who want to get involved in Formula 1, so we will see. I'm in no rush."
The 52-year-old has also been linked with a new 12th team with Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD.
Commenting on the rumour, he said: "Well, again, there's just so much interest in Formula 1. BYD are a huge entity and a huge company.
"There's so much speculation. I think I've been going to every team on the grid so far. I'm just here to enjoy the race. I'm here as a fan today."

Horner received a significant payout upon leaving Red Bull, understood to be around £75million.
It is reported, though, that the 52-year-old took a smaller sum to make a quicker return.
Back in January, Horner shared that he has "unfinished business" in the sport and is understood to be looking into having a stake in a team, which he did not have during his two decades at Red Bull.
