BBC viewers spotted an embarrassing error during coverage of France's World Cup opener against Senegal, prompting an apology from the broadcaster.
Ahead of kick-off, the BBC displayed France's starting line-up on screen as it introduced Didier Deschamps' side for their first match of the tournament.
However, eagle-eyed supporters quickly noticed that two members of the back four had been shown incorrectly.
Jules Kounde was named at right-back but the accompanying image appeared to show Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate, who was not involved in the match.
Alongside him, Dayot Upamecano was pictured correctly, though Arsenal centre-back William Saliba was also missing from the graphic.
Instead, a second image of Upamecano was used in Saliba's place, with Theo Hernandez the only defender whose photograph matched his name.
The mistake was swiftly highlighted by viewers on social media, with some expressing surprise that the error had made it on air.
One supporter wrote: "It's embarrassing for the flagship corporation."

Another said: "Oh what are you doing here? Konate isn't Kounde and Saliba isn't a twin of Upamecano.
"Come on you're better than that."
A third viewer simply asked: "What is wrong with the BBC?"
The broadcaster later acknowledged the error and issued a brief apology.

Fortunately for France, the on-screen mix-up did not distract from events on the pitch.
Les Bleus opened their World Cup campaign with a 3-1 victory over Senegal, with Kylian Mbappe stealing the headlines.
The forward struck twice to become France's all-time leading goalscorer and helped his side make the perfect start in their bid to win a third World Cup title.
Speaking after the game, which was goalless at half time, France boss Didier Deschamps revealed he'd been forced to be 'frank' with his players.
"I am frank with my players," Deschamps said. "We didn’t have the best first half, we could do better on many levels. I don’t shout but I do give a piece of my mind, they have to make the right decisions."

Deschamps also hailed Mbappe.
"People will still criticise him but he's an iconic player, I've always said that. With one action he is able to tip the scales and bring his team to victory," he said.
"He's not here to defend.
"If he wants to miss the first half and score two goals in the second that’s ok with me."
France will now look to build on the result in their remaining Group I fixtures as they seek to secure a place in the knockout stages.
Les Bleus will lock horns with Iraq and Norway on June 22 and June 26 respectively.
