Jamie Vardy believes Thomas Tuchel should take no chances with Declan Rice and leave the midfielder out of England's final World Cup group match against Panama.
The Three Lions have already secured their place in the knockout stages after taking four points from their opening two matches and only need a positive result on Saturday night to guarantee top spot in Group L.
Ahead of the contest, Tuchel faces several selection decisions as he weighs up whether to rotate his side ahead of the last 32.
Former England striker Vardy thinks one decision should be straightforward.
The 39-year-old, who has spent much of his career managing injuries and carefully monitoring his workload, believes Rice deserves a breather after a demanding campaign for club and country.
Speaking on The Utter Woke Nonsense podcast, Vardy suggested England should also manage Bukayo Saka's minutes as the Arsenal winger continues to work his way back to full fitness.
"Definitely change the wingers," Vardy said.

"Why risk making it a hundred times worse to the point where he might not be able to be involved in any other games later on?"
Rice has become one of Tuchel's most trusted figures since the German took charge and is expected to play a pivotal role if England are to challenge for World Cup glory.
But Vardy believes the squad has enough depth to cope without the Arsenal man against Panama.

England head into the contest as overwhelming favourites and any side Tuchel selects is expected to have enough quality to overcome Panama.
They previously beat the same opponents 6-1 at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, with Harry Kane scoring a brilliant hat-trick.
