Apple is giving away £120 Gift Cards to Mac and iPad owners, as popular offer returns for a limited time

Upgrade to a new MacBook or iPad over the next nine weeks, and Apple will send you a Gift Card worth up to £120.

You can spend that Gift Card on anything in your local Apple Store, including accessories like AirPods 4 (£119) or an Apple Pencil (£119), as well as protective cases and charging cables. You can also put the value of the Gift Card towards something more expensive, like a new iPhone or Magic Keyboard case.

But the Apple Gift Card also works for digital items too — letting you purchase apps and games from the App Store, rent the latest blockbusters from iTunes, or subscribe to the likes of Apple Creator Studio, Fitness+, or Apple Music.

You can also use the credit to cover the cost of monthly iCloud storage, letting you securely back up your photos and data, or even AppleCare+, which offers protection against accidental drops or theft worldwide.

It's a useful little perk, and could save you money every month.

The Gift Card is a limited-time bonus for anyone who buys a new Mac or iPad from the Apple Education Store, which offers a year-round discount of between 5 – 10% on Apple products for those in full-time education or who work in the sector.

That's roughly £50 – £200 off at checkout, depending on the specific Mac or iPad model.

Since the scheme is designed for those who need a laptop or tablet for their studies, Apple doesn't offer a discount on its iPhone or AirPods. The discounts are available to current students, parents buying for their schoolchildren, educators, homeschool families, or university students verified via the UNiDAYS scheme.

Buy before October 22, and Apple will send a Gift Card worth up to £120.

If you purchase an iPad Air, iPad Pro, or MacBook Air, you'll be eligible for an Apple Gift Card valued at £80. To unlock the maximum £120 Gift Card, you'll need to upgrade to the MacBook Pro.

Apple offers three months of its Apple TV streamer, which is the exclusive home of award-winning series like Ted Lasso, Silo, Slow Horses, and The Morning Show, when you buy a new device from the Apple Store, so you'll be able to binge-watch the latest boxsets and blockbusters like Killers of the Flower Moon and F1: The Movie.
