Watch television via EE TV? You've just unlocked thousands of movies, films, and documentaries to stream on this set-top box. It's all thanks to a new update that brings one of the biggest omissions to EE TV.
Disney+ is rolling out to EE TV Box Pro and EE TV Box Edge.
The House of Mouse launched its dedicated streaming service back in early 2020, bringing together classic animation and modern family-friendly films under the Walt Disney brand, as well as movies and series from Pixar, 20th Century Fox, FX, Searchlight Pictures, Marvel Studios, National Geographic, Hulu, and more.

The streaming service is now available on EE TV Box Pro and EE TV Box Edge
| EE PRESS OFFICEIt's always refreshing its library with a swathe of new content, including blockbuster movies, brand new originals, exclusive hit shows, and live sports via ESPN. Recent additions include Disney’s Zootropolis 2, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, The Testaments, FX’s The Beauty, and National Geographic’s Tucci in Italy.
Upcoming premieres like British comedy-drama Alice and Steve and a new season of FX’s The Bear will be added to Disney+ in the coming weeks. Everything is included as part of the subscription.
EE TV Box Pro and EE TV Box Edge are some of the last set-top boxes to receive a Disney+ app.
Rival hardware from Roku, Fire TV, Virgin Media, and Sky TV have been able to stream exclusive shows and films from Disney+ since its debut in the UK, or soon thereafter. EE relaunched its set-top boxes — wiping BT branding from older hardware — as part of a major overhaul a few years ago.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
With Disney+ now available, EE TV offers access to a wider range of films, series and originals without the need to switch devices. That means less time flicking between HDMI sources — and more time watching Disney+.
Disney+ offers a range of monthly subscription options starting from £5.99 and topping out at £14.99, depending on the picture quality, number of devices, and interest in ESPN sports fixtures. Disney+ offers annual subscriptions, which work out as 12 months for the price of 10, if you're willing to pay upfront.
- Disney+ Standard with Ads – £5.99 per month
- Disney+ Standard – £9.99 per month / £99.90 per year
- Disney+ Premium - £14.99 per month / £149.90 per year
Commenting on the launch, EE Director of Product, Home and TV, Luciano Oliveira said: "It's our goal to make EE TV a go-to destination for great entertainment, and adding the Disney+ app reinforces that by bringing an even broader mix of much-loved content to the platform. From big new releases to iconic series and timeless family favourites, it gives customers more of what they love, all in one place."
