The sunny beach destination is a less traditional option for a Spanish holiday
Jet2Villas has brought Galicia into its holiday line-up for the first time, giving sun-seekers a new corner of Spain to explore this summer.
The north-west Spanish region is the latest addition for the company, which has been busy growing its villa collection in response to surging demand.
Jet2Villas has added more than 1,000 new properties to its programme for Summer 26 due to high customer demand.
The total number of villas on offer is now more than 4,000, spread across over 52 destinations, making it one of the company's biggest-ever summers.
Galicia is a part of Spain that feels different from the usual holiday hotspots. Sitting on the Atlantic coast, the region is famous for its lush green scenery, stunning beaches and charming fishing villages — a world away from the bustling resort towns further south.
Cities like Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña and Vigo bring plenty of culture, while the local food scene is filled with fresh seafood and local dishes.
That mix of coastline, countryside, culture and cuisine makes it perfect for families, couples and groups of friends who want to see a different side of Spain.
TRAVEL INSPIRATION
Jet2Villas has reported a record-breaking summer, with more than 100,000 customers already booked in for the season — its highest-ever figure.
Families and groups love the idea of having their own private pool, outdoor space and plenty of room to spread out, which is exactly what a villa holiday offers.
With multiple bedrooms and generous shared living areas, villas are particularly popular with multi-generational families and groups of friends travelling together.
People are drawn to the combination of package holiday convenience with the privacy and flexibility that comes with having your own place.

This update comes just weeks after Jet2 announced new routes, including its first flight to a beautiful beach destination just one hour from the UK.
Holidaymakers can visit Italy, France and Jersey with the new summer routes for 2027.
