The extra flights will run between October 2026 and January 2027

Wizz Air has announced a batch of extra flights from London Luton to European club championship matches this season.

The budget carrier, one of Europe's biggest low-cost airlines, has put together a series of specially scheduled services so fans can more easily follow their teams abroad.

The new routes cover some top European destinations, including Prague, Seville, Istanbul, Madrid and Barcelona, with flights timed to fit neatly around matchday schedules.

Tickets are already on sale, and the airline is urging supporters to snap them up before prices climb.

The flights have been carefully built around the fixture calendar, giving supporters convenient departure and return options that work around kick-off times.

Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Brighton & Hove Albion and Aston Villa fans are all catered for, with direct services from Luton to some of Europe's most exciting cities.

Whether it is a quick trip to cheer on the team or a chance to turn a European away day into a mini break with friends and family, the airline is offering affordable fares and straightforward connections.

UK corporate communications manager at Wizz Air, Olivia Harangoza, said: "Football has a unique ability to bring people together, and we are delighted to help fans be there when their teams take to the pitch on Europe's biggest club stage.

"We have designed these additional flight schedules specifically around the matches, making it easier and more convenient for supporters to travel abroad, experience the atmosphere in person and return home afterwards.

"Seats are limited, so we encourage fans to book early and secure the best possible fare. We look forward to welcoming supporters on board and flying them closer to the action."
