The Sussexes' choice of location for their upcoming move has not yet been revealed
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet's school may be "in or close to the Cotswolds", with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle looking for homes in the area, reports suggest.
While it was revealed last week that the Sussexes were sensationally returning to the UK after six years - and the children had been enrolled in a British school - the whereabouts of the move had not been confirmed for security reasons.
Harry's trip to the UK last month was plagued by security concerns after his application for a security package was denied by the Home Office and the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec).
It forced the duke to reconsider whether his wife and children - who had been planning to join him for the whole trip - would travel at all.
In the end, they did - meeting with King Charles and travelling to Princess Diana's final resting place - but they did not go to London due to those protection fears.
With the security debacle still not sorted, the Sussexes have decided to stay well away from the capital, instead choosing the Cotswolds, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper claims that this is where the school that Archie and Lilibet have been enrolled at is located.
It is also suggested that Harry and Meghan are house-hunting in the region - to the tune of around £8million.
Northamptonshire, where the Spencers live on the Althorp Estate, Birmingham, which will host the 2027 Invictus Games, and Windsor had all been suggested as potential options for the Sussexes.
But the Cotswolds could be an idyllic country bolthole for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and it may be an area where they are closely surrounded by royals.
Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park estate in Minchinhampton could be nearby.

The Princess Royal's children, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall, live on the same estate.
As Prince Harry has lived away from the UK for six years, he may want to live near his aunt and two of his cousins.
Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, own a six-bedroom farmhouse valued at £3.5million, also in the Cotswolds.
And, of course, the King's Highgrove Estate - where the monarch was reunited with his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet after four long years - is also located within the Cotswolds.
Given that the Sussexes could be looking to fork out millions of pounds on a new country home, it has been suggested that Harry could be looking to stay in the country far longer than previously expected.
"The way he sees it is that he will be here for the next 12 to 15 years, minimum," a source told the newspaper.
"He sees himself as a full-time father and he will be here for them, spending every Saturday watching Archie play rugby. That is the agenda.
