Prince Harry and Meghan have returned to Britain alongside their two children, Archie and Lilibet today.
The family is understood to have travelled privately from California, where they have lived since March 2020 after stepping back from royal duties earlier that year, to Birmingham Airport.
A spokesperson for the couple stated when asked about their travel arrangements: "This is not something we would comment on."
It emerged last week that the Sussexes intended to relocate to the UK this month.
The family is expected to settle at a private residence in the Cotswolds, outside London.
They will not resume official royal engagements, instead residing in Britain as private citizens and non-working members of the Royal Family.
The King was informed of the family's decision to return earlier this month.
During a visit to Charles's Highgrove estate in July, the relocation was not raised, it is understood.
William and Catherine have also been made aware of the Sussexes' plans.
Both of the couple's children have been registered at schools ahead of the new term, which begins next week.
Today marks the first time Harry and Meghan have been in the country together since the late Queen's funeral in 2022.
Their departure from royal life began in early 2020, with the family subsequently establishing themselves on the US west coast.
The question of how the family's security will be handled remains unresolved and has sparked considerable debate since their return was first announced.
Harry unsuccessfully challenged in court last year the downgrading of his protection arrangements, which were reduced following his departure from official royal duties and move to the United States.
The duke had attempted to have that decision reversed, arguing he and his family were entitled to greater levels of security whilst on British soil.
Who will bear the cost of any protective measures, and what form those arrangements might take, is yet to be determined.
