Samsung has finally put an end to months of speculation by officially announcing its next Galaxy Unpacked event.
The Korean tech firm confirmed that the blockbuster showcase will take place on July 22 in London, kicking off at 2pm BST.
Samsung said in a statement: "Join us as we unveil the newest additions to the Galaxy portfolio, continuing the legacy that has defined the foldable category.
"Combining intelligent capabilities with innovative form factors, the next generation of Galaxy devices is set to deliver more personal and adaptive experiences and set a new standard for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) era."
For those who can't make it in person, you'll be able to watch the whole thing live from home. Samsung is streaming the event across three platforms — its main website Samsung.com, the Samsung Newsroom, and the company's YouTube channel.
Samsung is also offering numerous incentives when you register to watch on its online site.
For instance, you'll be entered for a chance to win a £1000 voucher, which can be put towards one of the new devices mentioned in the announcement.
You could also enjoy £100 when you trade in your old smartphone or tablet. You'll be given a special code to enter at checkout.
Finally, you'll get an additional £30 voucher to use towards a Galaxy Watch, earbuds, tablets, or other computer products.
From the recent teasers on their social media pages and latest whispers, we can expect to get a first look at the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The hints suggest the new model could give you a widescreen experience when opened, which would be a departure from the thin, tall screen in the Galaxy Z Fold 7. This is ideal if you're looking to read a book or watch a show on a tablet-sized screen.
We may also get a first look at the rumoured clip-on earbuds. The sharp-eyed team at Sammy Guru spotted code that appeared to reveal the earbuds' new name, along with everything we can expect from their new design.
Unlike many of Samsung's earbuds that are designed with active noise cancellation (ANC), these could feature an open-ear design so you can still hear what's happening around you while enjoying your music or podcasts – ideal for staying aware during your commute or morning jog.
