Meghan Markle is continuing to manage and operate her lifestyle brand, As Ever, following a relocation to the United Kingdom, it has been revealed.

The Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry are moving their primary family residence back to Britain later this month, taking up residence in a private estate as their children prepare to enrol in British schools.

While the move marks a significant geographical shift for the couple after several years based in Montecito, California, sources confirm that operations for As Ever will remain active without structural interruption.

Launched in March 2025 as the successor to her earlier project, American Riviera Orchard, the Santa Barbara-headquartered company operates in the consumer goods, food, and home living sectors.

The brand began as a commercial extension of the duchess’s long-standing interests in cooking, entertaining, and household management.

Its initial product releases focused on small-batch artisanal consumables, including fruit preserves, honey, specialised baking mixes, and herbal teas.

The product line subsequently expanded to include seasonal offerings, such as California wines, hand-poured scented candles, and home accessories.

As Ever was initially developed in connection with a media collaboration with Netflix, which produced content linked to the lifestyle venture.

Despite the duchess’s move to the UK, the brand’s operational structure and primary commercial market remain centred in the United States.

Orders and fulfilment are restricted to US domestic customers, with production sourcing tied largely to North American suppliers, such as California vineyards for its wine releases and local apiaries for its honey lines.

Six years ago, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit their roles as working royals and moved to California.

The family are coming back at the end of this month for “an extended period of time”.

Their two children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, will enrol at British schools, with the couple finding themselves a new home in the UK.

The King is understood to have only been told on Sunday that his son and daughter-in-law are returning to Britain.

Despite their return, Harry and Meghan will keep their £11million mansion in Montecito, California and their Portuguese bolthole, which they used last month before travelling back to Britain for a series of engagements.

The exact location of their new home has been kept under wraps, but there are a number of locations they could choose from.

It is understood that the Sussexes will not resume their roles as working royals once returning to Britain.
