Jude Bellingham urged England fans to forget work and keep the celebrations going after inspiring the Three Lions to a thrilling World Cup victory over Mexico.
The Real Madrid star, who struck twice in England's pulsating 3-2 triumph at the Estadio Azteca, joked that supporters should order another drink and call in sick after staying up through the night to witness one of the nation's most memorable wins.
Kick-off was delayed by severe weather in Mexico City, meaning the match did not begin until 2am UK time.
With pubs across the country granted permission to remain open until 5am, thousands of supporters watched Thomas Tuchel's side battle their way into the quarter-finals in unforgettable fashion.
Asked what message he had for fans back home, Bellingham said: "Have another shot and text your bosses to say you're not coming in tomorrow. That's about it.
"My god, if you can't enjoy a night like this, just for one night, then I don't know what it's worth."
The 23-year-old also admitted he could only imagine the scenes unfolding across England as supporters celebrated deep into Monday morning.

Bellingham's brilliant brace helped lay the foundations for England's famous victory, with Harry Kane also finding the net from the penalty spot as the Three Lions overcame the challenge of playing more than 40 minutes with 10 men after Jarell Quansah's dismissal.
Despite the euphoria, Bellingham insisted England cannot afford to get carried away ahead of a mouth-watering quarter-final showdown with Norway in Miami on Saturday.
"It is still one game at a time. At the end of the day it is just a round of 16 win," he said.
"The quarter-final, Norway pose a different threat, some that we know really well, some world-class players in there, so we will have to be ready."
Bellingham also admitted he relished playing at the Azteca for the first time.
