The Three Lions boss has reacted to the crunch clash at the Azteca

Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Jordan Henderson has suffered a 'really bad' wrist injury following England's 3-2 World Cup win over Mexico.

Despite the co-hosts hitting back twice, and the Three Lions being reduced to 10 men, England secured a memorable win in North America following a brilliant brace from Jude Bellingham and a penalty from Harry Kane.

After the game, however, there were concerning scenes.

Henderson fell over the advertising boards, with the Brentford star stretchered off the field after injuring his arm.

And Tuchel has confirmed he's fearing the worst, with the 36-year-old now a major doub for next weekend's clash against Norway.

"Not good. Jordan fell over and injured his wrist. It looks really bad," he said when quizzed on the injury.

Tuchel also complained about the referee, insisting that his team were unfairly treated throughout the game.

"A crazy match in a crazy atmosphere, and we were up against all odds," he said.

"Even in the end it was 11 minutes (stoppage time) and he (the referee) gives another two corners to make it 12 minutes. Everything went against us.

"[I am] very proud. We needed everything. It was super difficult. In the moments we thought we catch the momentum, we had setbacks. That is proper mentality.

"This team really mean it. When the going gets tough, they never give up, they never lose belief. It was one step more.

"We need to take this in. This is Azteca, it's Mexico, a crazy game. We left everything out there, every single one of us. We need to take this in, now it's full steam ahead."

In addition to Tuchel, Kane spoke out.

The England striker now has six goals from just five matches and is just one shy of Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.

The Three Lions produced a valiant defensive display to secure victory in the wake of Jarell Quansah's red card, with Kane left delighted by their spirit in the wake of such adversity.

"It was a crazy game. We had to fight and we had to find something," he said while struggling to speak.

"I've just been singing, I can't really talk. The occasion, the team, everything against us, we found a way."

And goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, who made a string of top saves, cut another delighted figure.

"It was unreal. A lot of emotions, a lot of positives. We showed resilience, showed character," he said.

"It wasn't pretty at times. It just had everything that puts you on the edge of your seat, that's what football's about. It shows our togetherness and it was a special night.

"I think you saw the standard I set myself tonight in producing saves in big moments, coming for crosses, it's where I aim to be and keep improving. Big moments in big times, that's where I am.

"I'm one of the most experienced lads in the group and when called upon you've got to roll your sleeves up. It was a great game for me and that's a standard in itself."
