The Little Mix star shared the news on social media

Leigh-Anne Pinnock has revealed she is expecting her third child with husband Andre Gray.

The 34-year-old former Little Mix singer shared the happy news on Instagram on Wednesday, posting a video filmed in a recording studio.

The clip shows Ms Pinnock wearing a shirt tied above her stomach while checking her phone, before cutting to a close-up of her cradling her baby bump.

"As one chapter ends, another begins," she wrote alongside the footage, adding a pregnant woman emoji.

The announcement comes as Ms Pinnock, who performs under the stage name Leigh-Anne, continues work on new music.

Her 35-year-old footballer husband and the singer already share twin daughters, born in August 2021.

Ms Pinnock's former bandmates were quick to celebrate the news. Jade Thirlwall commented: "Love you and your beautiful family."

Meanwhile, Perrie Edwards responded with a string of heart-eye emojis.

The announcement attracted an outpouring of support from fellow celebrities and fans alike. Singer and DJ Fleur East wrote: "Ahhhhh! Amazing! Congratulations." (sic)

The video was accompanied by Ms Pinnock's track Heaven, the final song from her debut solo album, with the lyrics "All I need's right here" playing throughout.

Ms Pinnock and Mr Gray tied the knot on a beach in Jamaica in June 2023, having welcomed their twin girls two years earlier.

The couple have deliberately shielded their daughters' identities from public view.

The singer has spoken about her reasoning for keeping her children out of the spotlight.

"I remember when they were born, I was going through this online hate thing and really seeing the toxicity of social media," she explained earlier this year. "I want them to be able to make that decision."

She added: "I want them to be able to [choose] if they want to be famous or not, because once they're out there, they're out there."

Little Mix rose to fame after winning The X Factor in 2011, with the group comprising Ms Pinnock, Ms Edwards, Ms Thirlwall and Jesy Nelson.

Following Ms Nelson's departure in December 2020, the remaining trio continued performing until announcing a hiatus in 2022 to focus on individual projects.

Ms Pinnock launched her solo career with the album My Ego Told Me To in February 2024. She has since released tracks including My Love, Don't Say Love and Been A Minute under the stage name Leigh-Anne.
